COVID-19 Update March 18, 2020
Dear Valued Customer,
We are committed to continue offering our Excellent, Innovative and customer centric Product & service, and will continue to service our Global Customer Base, as long as both Local and Global governments allow.
Innovation has always been at the heart of what Translas do, and we will continue to do so, even during these most of testing of times, and we can assure you we will continue to strive to bring the latest products and innovations to market with as little disruption as possible.
As COVID-19 is spreading around the world, and a global pandemic has been announced by the World Health Organisation, The Translas Group has put extensive measures and restrictions in place to protect our customers, suppliers, employees and families during this challenging time.
As our team do visit many sites here are some of the additional measures we are taking:
• Avoiding physical contact with customer staff, including hand shaking or sharing items such as pens or tools. • To support the above, our team are now not required to obtain customer signatures, we will take the customer's name and add this to the notes stating Covid. • Maintain at least 1-meter proximity from customer staff. • Latex gloves will be worn by technicians for the duration of the site visit. • All vehicles are equipped with hand sanitizer which is used before and after each site visit.
All our staff have been provided with new working practices to adhere to, and all the knowledge they require to minimize the risk of infection. Anyone that can work from home, is working from home. We are also keeping a close eye on developments as they happen and implementing new safety measures as soon as recommended by government health agencies around the world, to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
